Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Custodian for the State of Tennessee working at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institution (MTMHI) located in Nashville, TN.  This is a 1^st shift position working from 7AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.  However, weekends are rotated every other weekend.  Candidate will be scheduled a total of 37.5 hours/week.   Pay will start at 17.00/hr.  

Parking is included for this position.   This position is expected to last 6 months through our agency and will have the opportunity for hire at the end of the contract for the right candidates.  Parking is included for this position or there is a bus to the train station and the shuttle that will take candidates to MTMHI.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

Basic Custodial Duties including: 

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors by hand or by machine as needed
• Cleans restrooms including
  • Showers
  • Toilets
  • Sinks
  • Floors and walls
  • Mirrors
  • Trash
• Cleans patient bedrooms, offices, and other hospital facilities including:
  • Dusting furniture 
  • Vacuuming
  • Shampooing carpets
  • Washing walls and windows 
  • Emptying trash
  • Straightening work areas

Qualifications: 

• Must have stable work history 
• Will be required to provide an unexpired TB Test (Can be administered at the Health Dept.)
• Will be required to get a flu shot during flu season
• High School Diploma Required
